You never really know.

You never really know when your life is going to be changed forever... it just sort of.. happens.

One decision, even the smallest choice can alter the rest of your life. Perhaps writing this will change my life; perhaps not. Everyone's life is decided by the choices they make.

We don't choose to have dreams, but we do decide our goals.
And we all have dreams... but we don't all fulfill them. And our goals change faster than the tides.

It's like when we are born, we are put onto a highway that seems to go on and on for miles. We hope, and sometimes pray, that the highway never ends.

But it does.

Not only that, but every choice we make can impact the speed at which we reach it, and whether or not we even stay on the highway at all. There are plenty of exits and off-ramps that lead to many different kinds of roads and alleys, and even places where the road just stops altogether... but no matter what, if you follow directions, from any road, you can eventually find the highway again.

Every choice we make changes our course, for better or worse. For one day you may be happy, the next you're in a hearse. Some choice is not even ours to choose, for it is thrust upon us.
