Blue is Black

Chasm crossing breaking; bridge is wearing out
Candlefire breathing existentialism now
Revelation on horizon? Is it whispered solemn vows?
Shimmering, the darkness as the shroud is falling down

Blue burns black while white turns grey
Peaceful til the end of day
Walk the high road, some may say
Blue is black and white is grey

Vice of love is squeezing; blood is seeping out
Can't understand the feeling, does it make you happy now?
Somewhere in the silence I remember seven vows
Without question, with emotion, for her my life lay down

Blue burned black and white turned grey
Sadness fills my heart today
I've seen it all and heard them say
Blue is black and white is grey

Forbidding thoughts foreboding, a memory slips out
A time when life was perfect, a time that wasn't now
Locked away the treasure amidst a maze of many vows
Switching pain for feeling a complete and utter down

Blue burnt black and white turnt grey
Remember the ending day
So clear as if I'd heard him say
Blue is black and white is grey
